Professional Work: Portraits / Weddings.
As part my Graduate Thesis Exhibit, Love & the Myth of Photography, at the Savannah College of Art & Design in April of 2000, a selection of Holga Images were hung in the second floor room referred to as "The Living Room."

These were selections from the Savannah Streetscapes Series that I had started during my first quarter, in 1998, as an 'alternative group of self-portraits.'  As landscapes go, these images, combined with the rest of the exhibit hanging throughout the three floors of Gallery Lumiere, offer another facet of the show's theme.  Most photographic images, being based on the concrete, often reference other concerns and ideas when viewed as a body of work.  The 'metaphorical' possibilities within the symbolism of our visual language render them as objects to be interpreted, rather than simply described.  Yet the intense, personal description is of utmost importance in that interpretation.  These are not just documents, they are confessions.

On this page, I've included the eight images that were hung in "The Living Room."  Furthermore, I have titled them (they were previously known only as "Untitled Savannah Streetscapes"). This body of work is very large (not surprisingly), and relates to a time and a place that many of us may know.
